SB 4.3 Talks between Lord Siva and Sati

4.3. Talks between Lord Siva and Sati

 1-4: Dakña starts another sacrifice

1. Why was Dakña’s neglect of Lord Siva in the sacrifice not fitting?
He was proud of his position and neglected Lord Siva and di not invite him in the sacrifice. He failed to see him as an exalted devotee of the Lord and a demigod , he saw him through the bodily conception of life as his son-in-law.
His neglect was not fitting as no sacrifice is complete unless all the demigods are invited and they give their blessings.
